Here's a very interesting discussion between former Leverkusen manager Rainer Callmund and his friend Hans Meyer about the situation at Borussia-Park (clip):

Btw: I can't believe we have sold only 34,000 tickets for this crucial home game so far (seems to become the 2nd home match this season with less than 40,000 fans - the first one was against Cottbus) :( But well, better 35,000-38,000 passionate fans than 50,000 of whom 12,000 start whistling after 20 minutes...

Three points vital against 96
Going into today's press conference Hans Meyer was already aware that he will be without Dante and Jean-Sébastien Jaurès for the visit of Hannover 96.

The pressure ahead of this decisive game is very high ... but now, the moment has come to show that our players "have balls" (to cite Oliver Kahn)! After 8 games without a win, it's HIGH TIME to finally get the 3rd home victory of the season (ahead of the following games against another 2 top teams - Hertha & HSV)! The fact that the guests are the worst away team of the league (just 1 draw in 8 games), isn't that encouraging as some may believe ... since they surely will try to stop their negative away series (knowing that they can get in serious trouble as well in the case of a defeat). BUT: If we want to avoid relegation, we badly have to get the 3 points ... so there's no excuse if we fail to win! With the support of the fans and a hell of a fight, our guys simply have to enforce victory (Karlsruhe, Bochum & Cottbus have shown how it works)! It's carnival time in Rhineland, so our players should be well aware that we fans won't forgive them if our weekend & whole next week get spoiled!
Auf geht's, Jungs!!
Here's the expected line-up for tomorrow:
Bailly - Gohouri, Galasek, Daems - Stalteri, Bradley, Dorda - Baumjohann - Marin, Friend, Matmour
Have a nice day.
PS: Let's hope that our ex-player Jan Schlaudraff won't be fit to play (knowing about the fact that he always scores against us) ... and that our former darling Mika Forssell (who surely will get a warm welcome at Borussia-Park) won't dare scoring again against us (as happened in the Vorrunde).

Do not worry about 96, hopefully our players will be up for it and the crowd will respond as they have the past 2 weeks.
