No.
I don't believe you! :p
But what about this deal: Since you won't reach the top 5 this season, you gift us the 3 points (we badly need them) ... and we sell Marko Marin to you instead of HSV or other clubs. D'accordo? :-)
Btw: Will this guy get booed if he should score a goal against you? :-))

Now definitely "gute N8".

What use will Marin be in the 2. Bundesliga for us? Sorry, but we can't give you the points, we need them badly ourselves. But knowing this team, we'll likely gift you the points anyway....
Stalteri won't be booed. If we lose this match, all hell will break loose - your players should be safe. Can't guarantee for our staff and players....

you gift us the 3 points (we badly need them) ...
We gifted you the 3 points in the Hinrunde already. We need the points badly to stop the noises, that want the heads of Schaaf and Allofs. Not only Gladbach suffers under the Springer press.

Roel Brouwers has to miss the game due to a stomach flu. Thomas Kleine (who finally got fit after his injury suffered in Wolfsburg) will replace him.

@ zappa
Mille grazie per la risposta.
Perugia is a very nice & interesting city (can't remember the number of steps we had to climb on the way to the Old Town:-). As you talk about your friends: Are there more BMG fans in your surroundings? Mamma mia...
Btw: How did you become Gladbach fan? Are you maybe one of those persons who did this great job?

Unfortunately, there's nothing to celebrate in our current situation ... especially when noticing the results of the other teams fighting against relegation. Although we didn't lose against Hoffenheim & Bremen, the gap got larger. :(
About the game: After all the tough luck we had lately, the "Fußballgott" finally was Borusse on Saturday ... in person of our goalie Logan Bailly who showed a sensational performance (one of the best I've seen in my life) and saved us the point together with Michael Bradley (who was not convincing, but scored a very important goal).

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/3528/bradley1zt0.jpg
I'm totally disappointed with our game this time (we played as if we were frozen like a deer in the headlights) and think we were very, very lucky to escape with a draw (although Gohouri could have even scored a last-minute winner) ... but well, as long as we don't return home with 0 points, I don't complain. However, it's pretty strange to see us not getting rewarded when we play well and get a result when we are poor.
This point was incredibly important for our mental shape, even though draws don't help us much in this difficult situation. Now we BADLY have to win the next home match against Hannover (I think I can't remember our last home victory) in order to close the 4-points gap to the spots 15/16!

Bailly's one-man show
Borussia Mönchengladbach secured a 1-1 draw against Werder Bremen at the Weser Stadium this afternoon thanks to an outstanding Logan Bailly in goal. Michael Bradley got the equaliser for Borussia.

I couldn't say it better. Looking at the results of the other teams just make you wanna cry :( How the hell Schalke lost to Bochum??
Anyway we have to keep believe, we have Hannover 96 next week, no time to pause, we have to fight!
BTW, how was Colautti?

BTW, how was Colautti?
Unfortunately, he couldn't take his chance again. It's high time that he finally SCORES for us ... otherwise, his "Kicker" ratings won't look better in the future:

Here's the "Kicker" and "Torfabrik" ratings for the Bremen away game:

Unfortunately, he still can't play. :( At least Thomas Kleine got fit and is available.

That's an absolute MUST! We simply have to enforce the victory.

Unfortunately, there's nothing to celebrate in our current situation ...
Given that the last two weeks are our first points after 5 straight defeats, there's no harm in a little localized celebration. The fight to get out of the relegation zone has to start somewhere and earning a point on the road is still good. But then again, I'm the eternal optimist.

If we'd gotten 2 more points like that in the first half of the season, we'd be a lot closer to the other teams. So you are correct, it is a start. One key for me is that we also only gave up two goals in the last two games, which is a big improvement. If we can keep that up, there *will* be more points as we will not lose every game 1-0. We were giving up an average of over 2 goals a game while only scoring one. You cannot stay up doing that. A tighter defense/better goalkeeping gives us a chance.

Well i have seen crazy things happen..if am not wrong just b4 JH left club as our coach in the late 80s...we suddenly won 5-6 games in a row and even qualified for uefa cup,so there is some hope to still survive...but realistically the game against HANNOVER 96 is a "HUGE MUST WIN" situation for us...or the gap would get too big to fill her up later on....at the end of the season!

Just imagine we wouldn't have thrown away those points against Köln, Frankfurt and Cottbus (not to forget the unlucky defeats against Hertha & Leverkusen)...
Well, now the team has no other choice than making up these painful defeats in the Rückrunde! We badly need to win the home games, hence ... and pick up as many points as possible on the road.
One key for me is that we also only gave up two goals in the last two games, which is a big improvement.
Yep, a good defence is crucial if you don't score many goals. Unfortunately, our defending was very poor in Bremen (only Bailly and Werder's bad finishing prevented us from conceding 4 or 5 goals) ... but absolutely solid in Stuttgart (when the hosts had just 1 chance within the first 67 minutes).
@ Naz
What do you think of Rainer Bonhof's comeback (he's our new vice-president)? Here's a nice article for you (unfortunately only in German). :-)

Am glad our LEGEND is back, if he still has his magik left..he can bring alot to the table..question is if there is enough time for him..but in the long term...combination of bonhof and meyer would be quality at its best..bonhof always played smart and was a few steps ahead of the game...i hope he can bring that talent & smarts back to where he belongs....i still like to see him in a PUMA shirt tho..with the ERDGAS logo on the chest....we are in dire straights..but there is still hope,a fw back to back victories..will change everything...and the teams above us...might break down..when crunch time appears at the end of the season...at least our team is ready for the worst and i hope thy will fight every game like its their last chance!:D
