In order...
Peyton Manning is the sexy choice I suppose, last week's result notwithstanding. Though his supporting cast is quite underrated.
Steve McNair would be an easy choice if he hadn't been injured one ay or another all season.
Trent Green would get a lot more votes if only KC could stop the run and making them look so vulnerable.
Marshall Faulk - only the greatest all-purpose back to play in the NFL since Red Grange. Or not.
My darkhorse pick - Clinton Portis.

Michael Vick. Look how much the Falcons suck without him.

What about Jamal Lewis of the Ravens?

I think Peyton takes it this year. Although I would rather see him in the Super Bowl.

Daunte missed a couple games early and then had a horrid stretch in the middle of the season...
The winner will be the QB of whichever team wins the AFC South...

He still leads NFL in QB efficiency.

Well, he was the MVP of my fantasy team and led me to my league title with a great game last Saturday night...
But you can look at McNair and Manning and say that each singlehandedly won several games by themselves (more or less), and both teams could have 12 wins...

And 154 yards from breaking the single season rushing record.

I honestly do find it very annoying, though... there are so many people that spout off "defense wins Superbowls" yet those same people will never even look at a defensive player for MVP. I believe that defense and offense are equally important in winning championship, and that special teams also play a part.
My MVP votes go to McNair, Jamal Lewis, Ray Lewis and Mike Rucker... but it's a very, very difficult year toi pick MVP (for example, last year it was definitely Vick even if Gannon won it)
