I bought a few DVDs in Korea of the 2002 World Cup. Then I bought a four-DVD set of "Legend of the FIFA World Cup" from a British e-tailer. The latter is good but skipped a lot of first-round matches, even in the recent years.

My question is, do the region 1 versions feature more or are they identical to the British versions? And what other sites sell soccer highlight videos for low prices?

Question #1: They are the same.

Question #2: Reedswain and Soccer Learning Systems are the two major vendors of soccer videos/DVDs in the U.S. Neither is cheap though. Most of their DVDs retail for $25 - $30.

Though they are getting better, these vendors offer a limited range of products compared to what you can get in Europe, Asia, etc...

I assume you have a region free player since you have purchased DVDs abroad. What British e-tailer did you use? They most likely will have a lot more titles available than Reedswain/SLS. Also, what exactly are you looking for?

Well, I've been checking Ebay and the auctioneers want a fortune for all the goals of '90 and '94. Oh woe is us soccer fans in the soccer-unfriendly USA.

Actually, I bought a few DVDs in Korea that provide a lot of highlights. They are region 3 and in Korean but it's easy to navigate through. You can order them via koreandvds.com.
