Can anyone shed some light on the situation in la Primera from Argentina right now? There's a 3 way tie and a playoff (?). Will any/all of this be on tv here in the US? I know FSC shows a weekly matchup will they have this playoff and how will it work with 3 teams involved? Thanks in advance to anyone for helping me with this. I definitely am interested in watching as much of this as possible. Can't even imagine what kind of intensity there will be with those crowds :D

There will be a round robin playoff among the three teams:
Wed, Dec 17- 3:30 pm (ET) Tigre v. San Lorenzo
Sat, Dec 20 - 3:30 pm (ET) San Lorenzo v. Boca Jr
Tue, Dec 23 - 6:30 pm (ET) Boca v. Tigre
The games will be shown live on Fox Sports en Espanol.
I believe if San Lorenzo wins the first two games, the third may not be played since it would no longer be relevant in determining the Apertura champion.

Thanks everyone. Just another question. How do these work as far as draws? I'm very interested in this but it's really obscure as far as information on the net as to how it works.

You can just head over to the Argentina forum, but here:

If there are ties in points, goal differential and goal scores, the winner is decided by regular season match.
i.e. Tigre would automatically win since they beat Boca and San Lorenzo during the regular season. If it's between Boca and San Lorenzo, Boca wins since they won the season meeting.
Basically if there is a tie at the end in terms of points it goes down to goal differential, if that's tied it goes down to goals scored, and if that's tied it goes down to regular season matches.

And San Lorenzo wins it with 2 seemingly back to back goals!
Saturday is huge! I don't have FSE, but don't want to watch delay.
