I'm actually not THAT upset by the result, more disappointed by the bad refereeing. On the whole, I think the team put in a good performance.
i agree. we showed a lot of heart playing like we did with 10 men. you might say we played for the 3 pts more than liverpool did after adebayor got sent off.

Proud of the way the team responded after going down a man. Unfortunately the quality is not there to get a goal a man down, especially with Cesc off with the injury at halftime.
Liverpool not being able to get the victory despite everything going there way is pretty pathetic, in my book.

great point.
those 10 at the end worked their ass off to stop liverpool.
i honestly think liverpool were the better side before manu got sent off, so considering our position, a point was great.

I thought we played very well. The ref had an outstanding game for Liverpool though. We couldnt contain him late in the game and he came up with some big plays for Liverpool

Go die in a fire. If you could read, I've already stated that it was a total bullshit red and totally unjustified. I was saying it's not that serious, bigman stated it could have been wrong and he was wrong. Big fcking deal, he doesn't have to make a whole post saying "Guys, especially biginternetjackass, I was totally and completely wrong. Please forgive me for judging a play wrong at first glance."
Let's quit the personal attacks before both you guys get a card.

Does your mom know you're off your meds?
Go play in your own sandbox.
Please, please go pull a Caylee Anthony. My mom died when I was 11 from CGF for one, and secondly, I'm not the one who is so apt to try to make others admit they're wrong twice in a row.
But you are though, so you show them your big internet balls, you big scary muscly man you.
Sincerest apologies and a great game to Arsenal and most of their fans. Totally unfair game and shit ref ruined what could have should have been a great one.
Hopefully there will be a better one come next time.

I think it's this kind of game/crucial decisions that sum up why a lot of us have seen our hatred for Liverpool grow exponentially in recent seasons.
Now we have Villa on Boxing Day sans Adebayor or Cesc.

After today, I want anyone to win this title, but liverpool.
How many times are we going to be hard done by their seemingly very friendly relationships with refs? It might not be fair to single them out for that, but I'm angry and I need a drink.
The thing which upsets me the most though is the Fabregas injury.

both goals were sick.
van persie's power always amazes me.
djourou had just that one mental lapse and let keane go by, otherwise, i think we have got a talented guy.

If nothing else, Arsenal, both supporters and players, showed great spirit and fight after the unfortunate decision from Webb*. And well done to Wenger for giving Eboue some consolation time; equally well done to the home crowd for the hearty cheers.
*I can see where he's coming from in giving maybe the SECOND one as a bookable offense for having done the whole shielding-the-ball-with-whole-body thing twice (a move he's been using to great, unpenalised effect for a few years now), but to send him off is ridiculous. Also, its arguable that the 2nd yellow was for shooting after the whistle had gone, but Gerrard did it near the end of the game and was not even warned....so if that's the case, I am not happy.

A DRAW:cool:
I mean, what can we say? what can we do?
Im sure we will get a nice lecture from Wenger on how great the team performed after the shite Sending off of Adebayor, and how well the team coped with the Brutal assualts inflicted by Lucas.
Overall, the home support was TREMENDOUS. the fans really did there best and more to push them forward, and it was Nice to see eboue get his moment of redemption.
Overall, im very proud of the team, a 1-1 draw is not bad against the table leading Scum.
Now, all our focus needs to be put on putting out a team that can go to Villa park and Win, without Fabregas.

couldn't agree more. it wasn't simply the adebayour decision. the game was fraught with questionable decisions. the lucas debacle stands out the clearest in my mind, foul all over the field and it gets you nary a yellow? gerrard has a clear dive in the penalty area? the list goes on.

We need Nasri on the ball more, he has been our only really creative player this game
Can someone tell me why Nasri was not moved into the centre to replace Cesc? There is no logical reason why we couldn't have continued with Nasri and Song in the center, with Denilson and Diaby out wide. By moving Denilson back centrally we pretty much negated any chance of creating anything going forward.
I won't even discuss the Ade decision, it was beyond poor. Webb is the most overrated referee in the league.

I don't question Webb's decisions at all. They were exactly what you would expect from a Liverpool fan.

i actually thought denilson played quite well tonight.
he isn't creative enough with his passing to play cesc's role though, imo.
