Belize it is...
I know almost nothing about their national team except that they are competitive against other central american nations. I think it will be far from a walk in the park for Canada.

Do any Belize players play outside of their country?
Flights to Belize can be rather expensive (depends on where you look). I know a few people who went to Belize for biology reasons and they just loved it. I doubt I will be going to this match, but I would love to get to at least one WCQ road match.

Having lived in Central America myself (in El Salvador) and have seen many International matches there, Belize is considered to be the weaker opponent from the region, although they could beat Nicaragua on any given day.
I would expect Canada to defeat them easily, but only if they seem willing. I say that 'cause I've seen Canada fall to teams that they could very easily crush with all the talent you guys have.
Well, in conclusion, I predict a Canadian Victory and hope to see you guys back in the Hex.
Good Luck!:)

Kingston, Ontario that is.... ;)
It has been reported that the game will be played at Richardson Stadium (capacity 12,000). Not a bad choice because Kingston is a short drive (a few hours) from Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal.

I would imagine that Western Canada (Vancouver, and Edmonton) would get most of the semi-final group stage games (if Canada beats Belize).
The Canadian women played a WC warm-up at Richardson and I believe the game was close to a sellout.

It says Kingston is the hosting the match on Sportsnet.ca
They should play there more often, it's not like they get anymore than 12K anywhere out west.
Any chance they could make it a bit bigger if needed?
The location of Kingston is excellent, more central for everyone, than Edmonton.

Actually the last time the National men's team played in Edmonton they got 25,000 in the stands. The women's teams of course, have done even better than that recently.

And it should have been well over 30,000, but there was only a couple of ticket windows open at Commonwealth. People were still in line trying to get in at half time apparently. No one knows how many people just gave up and left. We were safely in the stadium 30 mins before kickoff, but the lines to buy tickets were insane then. Frankly I was too angry to worry about how many people did or didn't show up, by time the stadium was full.
I'm very happy with the choice of Kingston though. Nice central location for the easterners. Should be a packed house.
Belize could be tricky. Depends if they send the real national team or not. If not we'll beat them by a Virgin Islands score. If they do send the best, I suspect we'll only manage a single digit goal aggregate win. I think we'd need a three or four goal win at home to feel comfortable on the road. Anything less and it will be a very dicey proposition down there.

Richardson's the shi.t! Nice 20 min drive to get to the game. I'll be in the gold seats for sure, that is unless I'm ball boy! ;)

I still don't know if I will be in the area for the match, but at that price I might as well buy a ticket (with the hope that I will be able to attend).
