Well Concacaf didnt want teams from the same country meeting in the final, so LDA - Saprissa and Comunicaciones - Municipal played the semis.

Saprissa 1 - LDA 0
Com 0 - 0 Mun (Com wins the penalty shootout)

Alajuela 3 - 0 Mun
Saprissa 3 - 2 Comm

Saprissa played with their reserve squad and still managed to beat Communicaciones and proclaim itself Central American champs.

Clearly the costarican squads were the best teams.

Alajuela, COmunicaciones and Saprissa advance to the Concacaf finals.

Referee was bad for both teams. Didnt have an impact on the outcome. Comunicaciones players and coach were sour cause they lost to a team pack full of substitutes.

Coach Horacio Cordero (coach of comunicaciones) had been talking trash of Costa Rican futbol in the days previous to the games. He says neither the national team nor clubs are good.

We all know that he was a failure when he coached the CR Nat team and he couldnt keep his mouth shut this time around.. too bad cause he will have even more to talk about now. Not only did he lose, hit the ref but also made a complete fool of himself.
