CURRENTLY NOTABLE (IF NOT MEMORABLE)Brandi Chastain, the San Jose soccer pro now without a team (or league, even), will branch out into another sports venue this weekend. She'll be a sideline reporter during College Sports Television's coverage of the Pete Newell Challenge basketball tourney Saturday at the Oakland Coliseum Arena.
