1) Are we gonna try to go En Masse to the SuperDraft in January?

2) Does Eads Brigade have a section of Korte Stadium picked out for STL Athletica matches?

I can answer the second with this... I don't know about Eads.. but I'm in final development of a womens supporters club. We will have our own section at the field... we can even have fireworks. :D If you are interested, let me know. I'm in development of a logo currently. More info later.

If Eads wishes to also be there, that's fine by me. :)

While I think it's great if people from Eads Brigade go, I think it's very important that we make certain we are the "in support" of the womens supporters club and that we are not trying to "take over."

Roka - you can count on support from Eads Brigade for anything you need.

I'm still trying to work out how we will be allowed to appear at the draft. Where they will put us. Cost. etc.

Ditto on the draft about going, except mine is times 2. hehe. Here it is... what I posted on the WPS boards:

Hello everyone. Just to let you know I have created a facebook page for the supporters group. Please vote for the name you like or post your own suggestion. Right now there is only a facebook page while we are nameless, but I would love discussion on here. So, I guess this is just the warning saying, things are going to be done, and we will have a group. No more, are we or who's gonna do it's. Here we are, join in and chant loud!!

We're functional now... no going back.

I guess I need 2 necks for my scarves!

Doesn't anyone else think it would be an embarrassment if we didn't show up en masse? There is no doubt in my mind St Louis and MLS will be taking notes in the back of their mind on how the St Louis fans show up for the draft. I can't make it, but I'm sending my brothers and some friends to make sure we show some support. What an opportunity the draft is for us!

Yeah, that's kinda why I was asking, just to make sure....
....I probably should consider getting a Eads Brigade scarf soon.... or at least an Athletica one.

How's this^ going so far, by the way?

A buddy of mine and I are planning to attend, so I'm also interested in your progress.

Attending the draft is traditionally free and seating is first come first served except in the players and families section. Last year over 100 supporters came to Baltimore from around the league including 27 SoBs, and equivalent numbers of DC supporters, and ESC.

We've got 14 confirmed to be going with possibly 5 more. I know we can get a better turnout. Come on St. Louis, this is our chance to show MLS how committed we are!

We've definitely got to do better than that. Bryan76 said they had 27 Sons of Ben last year and they had to go out of town to get there.

I know it's a bad time, being in the middle of the work week, but the troops have got to rally around the effort!

I can't make it due to school starting up. It will only be my 2nd day of class and I have classes from 9:45am till 4:45 pm. Kind of impossible. I'll be at the WPS draft though...

I'm sending around invites to friends, strangers, whoever else I can think of that might be able to make it. I hope everyone else is doing the same. Grab your Grandma and throw a scarf on her for heaven's sake.
