Looks like we may have gotten our answer today.

Danny Murphy scores the PK in the 89th minute v. Southampton.

Pretty well taken against Jones—who I
thought had a good game for the Saints, BTW.

Maybe Murphy is now the “designated” taker of penalties—although
Owen had been subbed off by the time the foul occurred.

PS: If Diouf hadn't been subbed off as well, he'd
have taken it, I'd wager.
