nahh, it was a crappy call. even abc announcers said so.
contact was less than limited on the play, 95% of the time it is one of those "let them play" kinda things.
3rd and goal from the 8 for purdue.

Georgia just won its 14th different bowl title since 1941. Other bowls Georgia has won.
Orange (2), Rose, Oil, Sugar (3), Sun (2), Cotton (2), Gator (2), Peach (2), Citrus (2), Liberty, Independence, Outback (2), Oahu and now the Capital One Bowl.
The SEC improves to 3-1 during this bowl season while the Big 10 (sic) drops to 2-4. The SEC won the Bowl series with the Big 10 (sic) 2-1.
I need some sleep. It is almost dawn here.
GOOOOOOOO DAWGS! Sic 'em. Woof woof woof woof woof!

I dare the Associated Press writers to vote the winner of Sunday night's game #1. Double dare them.
Pac-10 wraps up the bowl season 4-2. Not too shabby.

SC presumably splits the National Championship title with the winner of the Sugar Bowl Odd game all around. A fair woodshed ass-whoopin', but neither the score nor the stats suggest that, except for a few: 9 sacks by SC, and <100 rushing yards by Chris Perry.
I didn't expect SC to run over UM that easily, but I did expect us to score more.
The double-reverse-williams-to-leinart TD was priceless, and indicative of the ease with which 'SC dispatched of yet another Big 10 team. Pity about that game in Louisiana, 'cause there's your real national champion in USC.

From the Thug Bowl, aka the BCS Reject Bowl in Miami
"Personal foul, Miami. Personal foul, Florida State. Penalties offset."
Can you believe it?!?!? ")
As for the Big 10 (sic), they are a fraud. 2-5 in this Bowl Season.

They are too chicken with all of the unjustified criticism that has been heaped on the BCS for not including the human poll number one. A more justifiable criticism would be including a non-champion in the conference title game, but NOT including the human poll number one is NOT a legit complaint. Not in my book anyway!

Either way as impressive as the Rose Bowl win was, and Michigan did look like absolute crap, I hate how all the announcers and casual fans try to sound as if they're an intelligent authority on the subject by sayin' they're the real champion here. I mean hello, one loss, same as Oklahoma and LSU. And it can be argued that you can't lose late like that in Oklahoma's case, and I would be inclined to agree, but even so, they lost to a team that's a lot better than Cal. LSU also lost to a team tougher than Cal and both teams had a tougher schedule than USC, who's only real competition in the PAC-10 this year was Washington State. So yes USC has a legitimate gripe, but certainly not as undisputed champions, and definitely not if LSU beats Oklahoma, as they have the better case all around. Anyways in my opinion it should have been LSU vs. USC, but it didn't work out that way, so looks like a co-national championship, which could've possibly happened if Oklahoma wasn't picked for the Sugar anyways, but co-championships have happened before and they're gonna have to happen again, but I for one, am not so shortsighted to call USC the "real" national champions with the Sugar Bowl still yet to take place.

And what happens if LSU comes out and trounces Oklahoma? I would argue that Oklahoma is better than Michigan. What looks better, a 14 point victory over Michigan or a 14+ point victory over Oklahoma? I would argue the later, especially considering the fraud that the Big 10 (sic) has proven to be this year (not that the Big 12 has been much better.)

I guess you and me watched two totally different games. In the game I watched Michigan fought hard but was outplayed by a better team. Saying Michigan sucked only takes away from USC which was obviously not the case....

I'll speak for Ian and the rest of the Michigan fans on this board ( if that's ok with them) and say that we lost to a better team. PERIOD.
But damn, you don't go to the Rose Bowl unless you're pretty damn good yourself. USC deserves to be #1 and should get a shot at the winner of the Sooners/ LSU game to put this baby to rest once once and for all....

The Georgia announcers are homers, but if they see a bad call that benefits the Dawgs, they do generally point it out.
The Big 10(sic) is 2-5.
Minnesota beat Oregon in the Sun Bowl and Iowa beat Florida in the Outback Bowl.
Northwestern, Michigan State, Purdue, Wisconsin, and Michigan have all lost.

You can go to the Rose Bowl if you are the best team in a weak Big 10 (sic), which it appears to be this year.

In a BCS year, it wasn't predisposed that a Big Ten team was going to the Rose Bowl, it just worked out that way. And the Big Ten doesn't play a conference championship game, so Michigan hasn't played in six weeks since we kicked OSU's ass.
If you think the Big Ten is weak, just look at how the bowls were aligned due to strength of schedule....
