Well, one of their wins was against C-USA which is 1-4. The other was against Northwestern.

Say it ain't so.

Purdue scores again. Kyle Orton rushes for a 1 yard TD. PAT good. 6 plays, 69 yards.

Georgia 24 Purdue 17 9:14 left. (Outback Bowl revenge for the Boilers?) :(

Maryland 41 West Virginia 7 FINAL

ACC is now a perfect 3-0 thus far while the Big East drops to 1-3. The ACC has won both ACC-Big East meetings.

miami could have beaten just 'about' every team out there given a chance. they were a team that was on one hell of a role and got totally screwed only getting a bid to play in mobile...it's a team nobody would have wanted to play in a college football "playoff"

i am just saying that a conference like CUSA is a joke and these bowls show it once again. time and time again certain conferences don't get a fair shake, like the MAC, and the only times they get to proove themselves against other conferences they seem to do pretty well <in football and basketball> that's all i am saying...give them a chance.

The WAC also has some reason to gripe. They are 3-0, including a win over a Pac-10 team, (they can still win another as Tulsa plays Georgia Tech in the Humanitarian Bowl.)

I am also an advocate of the playoff system, though the WAC has as much claim as anyone to replace the Big East as the 6th BCS conference.

The Bulldawg Nation is sweating bullets right now. After a 60 yard pass play to John Standforde, Ray Williams catches a 3-yard TD pass - PAT good.

Georgia 27 Purdue 24 - 1:40 left.

Onside kick upcoming.

guy runs a sweep to the right, almost gets to the sideline, then decides to turn back around and head to the left <he should have just gone down> as he is running back to the left, the purdue def. end <the good one, #15, phillips i think> tackles him from behind and punches the ball right out of his arms.

purdue with the field goal. this puppy is tied 27-27, purdue has the decided edge right now.

Thanks Fidlerre.

This so much reminds me of the Outback Bowl four years back where we cam back from a 25-0 deficit against Purdue to beat them 28-25.

Gee, a procedure penalty while taking a knee. Can we do anything right?!?!?!

I am really hating life right now. It is almost dawn here. Heck, I could turn on the Rose Bowl and watch that while listening to the end of this one.

I suppose this would be fitting revenge for four years ago.

Purdue wins the toss, Georgia to try first.

Well, I can't see it, but the Georgia announcers (granted, they are biased - but they are pretty good about saying when they don't agree with a call) agreed with it.
