Should definitely play Rooney and Evra, since they are suspended for the Tottenham game, but I think we should also rest Ronaldo after the knock he took. Remember this game is not MUST win, so wouldn't you rather have a bit more of a fresher squad for the game with Tottenham?

Form the next stage of the Champions League, is there a draw for the round of 16, or do we already know who we are going to play?
Like 2nd place of Group A plays First of Group B for example...

It's for last years knockout draw, but this will explain the procedure...

---------Kuszczak---------
Neville-O'Shea-Evans-Evra
--Fletcher-Gibson-Anderson--
----Nani---Tevez---Giggs----

As you can tell, I don't rate Aalborg at all.

Assuming it's Kuszczak's turn in this rather weird goalie roatation policy Fergie's got going on. Other than that, I'm not really arsed there. Neville because they're rubbish, O'Shea because I can't make my mind up over which one to rest out of Vidic and Ferdinand so might as well be both. Evra to get as many games into him as possible what with the ban coming up. Gibson to hold, allowing Anderson to attack. Fletcher to make up the numbers but could easily have been Carrick or Possebon - (wonder if Scholes might even start this one? depending on plans for Spurs). Nani to give him a start, Tevez too and Giggs to make up the numbers.

ESPN 2 for sure? Their website just said Champions League but didn't give a specific game.

On my program listing it says Madrid-Zenit
and on the e-mail list my pub sent me, they didnt even have us on there (for the first time ever) Could it be that ESPN has started understanding "something" about soccer and realized that there are more important games on then our meaningless one?

I think it's an important game in that if we fail to win and Villareal does, we finish second group and thus get a tougher opponent in the next round.

Aalborg are not better than Blackburn and we're at home.

Time to show some faith in the squad.

:)

Dreaming would be so much easier if you didn't feel the emotional despair when your dream is crushed.

Carrick is out or rested with a minor blow so hopefully one of Gibson or Possebon starts.
