The Addicks must get points here. They are in a little funk and need to break out of it.

- Bart-Williams transferred to Ipswich has been extended until the end of the season. It was a free one with possible payment to Charlton if Ipswich is premoted.

Boro has had a little pressure of late but Charlton releases it without much problem.

Boro has had the run of play, but nothing really challenging. Charlton has not had much of an attack. According to the commentators Di Canio is playing too far back and is leaving Euell too much alone.

A benign first half so far by the Addicks. It is near 11 hours since Boro has let in a goal. Their defence is playing very well as of late.

Corner for Charlton 43'
DiCanio created the corner.

Jensen corner - punched away.

Boro counterattack.

Jensen takes a 30 yarder, drags it accross the goal.

Charlton pressing in the last few moments of the half. Not a whole lot of action, but possetion.

Half.

Danny Mills, Boro, appeared to stamp on the head of DiCanio about 20' minute. This is the main discusison point.

The Addicks have three shots:
Jensen, Holland, and Parker but l from long range.
