i really hope this is a good win for our boys. my weekend will get off on the wrong foot to see an ugly draw or any loss. if our carling cup team can thrash them, then by all logic, our first team should, too.

I agree that the first team better win! The only thing I question is whether Kolo and Djourou will start. Wenger seemed to infer in his lastest interview that Silvestre was the logical replacement for Gallas given that he is left footed. That would leave Djourou and Kolo competing for the right side spot. I would rather have the back 4 that you have listed, but I got the impression that Silvestre will be there instead.

If toure is available, and ready to go, i fully expect Kolo to Start. None of this silvestre is left footed non-sense, come on wenger, show alittle loyalty to our longest serving Player rather than side with a Manc reject cuz hes french.

Wenger for all his brilliancy sometimes surprises me deeply. then again, toure might not be fully fit to go so i can understand that.

Then what a shock it will be for everyone when he starts in defence with Tweety :D

Time for King Kolo to win his spot back. I'm excited for that and I can't wait to see Eboue in the squad again. C'mon Arsenal, let 'em have it!

Goals from Toure, Cesc, RvP and Ade.......:D !!!!

I hope Eduardo will be on the bench. Maybe get a 5 minute, end of the game run out, if he is ready of course.

According to Wenger he's been in full training for a little while. "He just needs games"; I take that to mean Reserve fixtures to get some fitness. He's well below match fitness.

i think we'll see kolo and silvestre in the back 4, even though i don't think djourou deserves to be dropped. my guess is the same formation as against chelski. eboue will come in the 2nd half when we have the lead.

let's get 3 points!

How often are logic and football seen together? Nevertheless, my feelings are the same as yours.

is toure seriously benched because of poor play? surely not.
i never got that impression from wenger.
it is because of injury.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but....

Arsene, please start Eboue? Anything on the right wing is better than Denilson (aside from Bendtner)

I'd like to see Eboue come off the bench... and I can't believe Im saying that. Hopefully this can be a move forward as opposed to the moves back we have had after big wins this season. Djourou has earned his starting position with Toure I think.
