Hi, my name i James.
I live here in Vic, BC, athough I grew up in England.
I guess it was back in the 87/88 season when I started supporting Man U. Although I'm told I was supporting them since birth ;), I just can't remember it...LOL.

Dunno if I ever did one of these so here goes.
Hi, my name is Peter, I'm 27 and as the screen-name suggests I'm from Manchester. I've been supporting United for as long as I can remember although my first proper memory of the club was the 1985 F.A. cup final on t.v.
Started going to games with my dad in 87-88 and can clearly remember my first game. We got to Old trafford and were just walking up the stairs to seating area (J stand) as United came out for their warm-up which was greeted with a cheer by our fans. Not being to any games before I'd never heard a cheer like it and it coincided perfectly with me setting my eyes on the inside of Old Trafford for the first time ever and kind of sent a chill down my spine. I did wonder for a few seconds whether or not they were cheering for me but that didn't last long, :o it's just something I'll always remember. We beat Q.P.R. 2-1 that day.
We started going more regularly after that, my dad getting tickets for different places around the ground before we eventually settled on the Stretford End as our regular spot for a while. We used to go into the unreserved seating at the top (E stand) and would queue up outside from 1pm to try and get a good seat. I suppose my first ever hero was Brian McClair and can remember copying the way he used to get the ball out of the back of the net and run it back to the half-way line when I played in the school playground. :D
When the Stretford End got knocked down for re-development we got L.M.T.Bs (league match ticket books) in the family stand (now where the away fans sit) and I was lucky enough to witness some great moments, both home and away and even at Wembley. I stopped going for a couple of years after the '93-94 season for financial reasons and ever since then have gone either whenever I could afford to (had to pay for my own by then), or whenever I could get hold of a ticket through the ballot or by other means.
The past couple of seasons I started to go less and less and the whole Glazer thing has had a big impact on me and I've yet to go this season and honestly doubt that I will. I've kind of gotten used to being an armchair fan and don't miss it as much as I thought I might. United are still my passion though and that will never go away.

Hi, I'm Joe.
I'm still the same, I am now a Civil Engineering Major since we are doing our tri-yearly update. Still at MSU still following Manchester United. My life is all over the forum if you look hard enough so it won't be here. :)

I know I'm not a manc, but I'm bored.
I'm 21 and my acutal name isn't Toon² it's Graeme. I'm at Newcastle Uni at the moment doing the engineering part of my Construction Engineering and Project Management Course. I'm nearly married and I've got a bairn on the way, due late June. As well as being at Uni I'm also a barman at Popolo which is "a retro-cool and contemporary bar serving stylish range of cocktails, wines, spirits and continental beers. This is a cool and hip place to hang out."....aparantly
Anyway, I've been to Old Trafford 5 times. Once for the 99 FA cup semi and 4 times to see us get kicked in the league. I'm planning on going back on the 11th march this season. I'm a sucker for pain.

I'm Brian, I'm from a suburb of Vancouver BC Canada called Surrey. I'm at an elderly age of 58. And I started out watching MLS soccer when the Vancouver Whitecaps won the North American Championship. Then they disbanded and the sports channel started showing British football and after a while I chose Man U as my team. I taped a number of games and was fortunate enough to capture on one six hour video the United Treble. I live alone except for my cat and I am currently on disability. Im not very versed on tactical positioning of players or what United or other teams use against each other, But I'm a number one fan of united and always will be. I don't have a second team because Man U takes all my time.

Doug, 15, currently a sophmore at Parkview High in Georgia. Playing JV baseball, starting at shortstop, getting some tournament games at Varisty level. Used to play CB on my travel soccer side, that ended year before last. Huge Man U fan, but not very knowledgable in that area. God, sounds like a personals ad.

Interesting, I went to high school in the states and graduated from Duluth High School in Gwinnett County "class of 2002". Parkview is not too far away fromo there.

Really... I knew a kid at Duluth, was on my soccer team few years back. Nice to see someone so close, or atleast that used to be close.
About the haircut stuff
Heh. My dad made me cut it. Wasn't really begging for the guy not to either, was getting a bit long there.
