Now this really makes me feel old ... let's just say I graduated from high school in '72. When I was a freshman, I was part of the first year of the soccer program for my district. I played varsity as a freshman and our kits were actually PE shorts with pointy ball jerseys. We were definately an oddity in those days.

Was just about to admit to being a year older than Father Ted and Vermont Red and therefore the oldest so far. So thanks Hawki, I owe you one :)

I'm Paolo, I'm 19 and I go to Arizona State Univesity, when I'm not in school I'm back in Southern California where I was born and raised, specfically Diamond Bar but no one ever knows where that is. Its close to Disneyland if your wondering. I'm a journalism major and I'm trying to be a sports writer of course, hopefully that works out.

Anyways been following Man Utd since I was about 10 or 11, my grandpa was a pretty big fan, he lives in the Philippnes and they used to get a ton of Man U games out there. I think they still do. Anyways I don't post on the board as much as I like, but I do read the boards quite often. One of the best places for Man U discussion.

On a side note, Acthung, 'Johno, and myself kicked around the idea of going to Manchester this winter and I believe the plans are still in order. Anyways, My friend and I bought our tickets already, so we're going for sure. I'm sure Acthung and 'Johno will secure tickets as well. Let me know when you guys finalize your plans. It'll be cool to meet up in Manchester and take the tour of the stadium and Museaum together.

*runs into corner and cries*

;)*blows johno a kiss* don't cry!

The hubby doesn't like football, but I found a use for him: he speaks quite a few languages, so I have him translating the feeds on PPLive. The family that plays together, stays together, as they say. :D

Two months and I'm already an evil wife. . . heheheh. :p

I love Nada Surf! I can't believe they're still around. Have you guys been fans since the 90s (when was their 1st album, 95?), or are they making a comeback??

I've been a fan since the 90's, yeah. They've been playing ever since, but had some complications (music industry junk) when their second album was supposed to come out in 98 (it was only released in Europe), killing any momentum they may have had, and which legally bound it 'idle' until they won the rights to their own album (the music industry stinks) and released it around 2001 (i think). They released one of the most beautiful albums anyone will ever hear, 'Let Go' in 2003 and are due to release their latest endeavour on September 13th, entitled 'The Weight is a Gift.' If you're interested at all, I'd definitely recommend that ya go out and grad 'Let Go' and 'The Proximity Effect.' You will not be disappointed. :) For samples, go to www.nadasurf.com (http://www.nadasurf.com), or their US label, www.barsuk.com (http://www.barsuk.com).

Nik's the name.
I'm 30 living in NYC and originally from London, UK.
Born and bred United (3rd generation, family originally from Manchester) but really got "obsessed" as moran got sent off in '85.
Play midfield or up front here for the "English Lions" in a brooklyn league (looking for players) having been playing since I could walk.
Married with 3 boys, the eldest's middle name is Beckham (told the wife it's a standard english name) but learnt my lesson since....
went to Uni in Manchester and used to hang around the cliff so got to know a few of the united players at that time.
My high school was round the corner from the Spurs training ground so used to go down there a fair bit and met Lineker , Gazza etc.
Normally at Nevada Smiths in Manhattan for the games...
Sparky is my hero........

I didn't mind Acronym. A bit over the top, but overall not annoying to us. Got into it with some folks in the Arsenal forum though and I believe he tried to hack Rick's password or something, LOL. But he finally got booted for good for posting a picture of Wenger that violated the terms of service. Too bad, keep a tight leash on him and he was good entertainment.

manc_sean, on the other hand, was a massive prick. Good riddance.
