League Cup Quarterfinals
Watford vs Tottenham Hotspur
Vicarage Road - Wed. 12/3 at 2:45pm EST
I'm guessing Watford will be taking this much more seriously than Liverpool. What does everyone expect to see for lineups?

Harry made 7 changes for the last round vs. Liverpool, and with a weaker opponent I can see him giving fringe players a try. So - I'd say likely starts for Gunter, Dawson, O'Hara, Campbell. Maybe someone like Bostock too - a creative spark is needed if the Everton game is anything to go by.
Watford are in turmoil, losing Boothroyd not so long ago and front office staff leaving this week. Near the foot of the Championship, they should not be hard to deal with, but look at what Burnley did. With 2 of the big 4 out, this is again a very winnable trophy.

Must win game -- let's be realistic, this is our best chance of getting back into Europe.

Looking at the two teams who won tonight and are in the semis, this is going to be a much easier cup to win compared to last season. Definitely a must-win game tomorrow.

Well...no semi-final rematch against Arsenal. Maybe Blackburn can take out United tomorrow too.

hey, chan, i'm having trouble bringing up the setanta tv listings. i doubt i'll be able to see it in the afternoon, so tell me, is setanta going to replay it later in the evening (as they often do)? and if so, when?
thanks in advance.
i don't have it (setanta), but my local does. i'd love to be able to go down and take it in over a pint in the evening.

If we win this 1, we are 2 matches away from the final. Let's field the strongest XI. I am willing to sacrifice the fa cup and uefa cup if we can win this.

Gomes, Corluka, Woodgate, Dawson, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Zokora, Jenas, O'Hara, Pavlyuchenko, Campbell.
Surprise is Woodgate is captain, not Jenas.

nice effort, corluka.
gives the ball away going forward, and doesn't get back until just in time to watch gomes get beaten.

just lost the stream, which is just as well, as i've got to run.
we've looked proper crap throught the first 20, or so, minutes. and with jenas and zokora in the middle of the pitch, playing as they have been, it could be a tough road back.
good luck, lads.
