So happy I don't I have dish.
Sahl was NOT really the guy who makes the final programming decisions at DISH.
At DISH, the buck starts and stops with one person: CHEAP CHARLIE
DISH has been losing net subscribers recently (particularly to DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse, and Verizon FIOS) because CHEAP CHARLIE wouldn't sign programming deals that the competitors are willing to sign.
Just look at the stock chart of DISH vs the likes of DirecTV for the past 12 months and you decide whether CHEAP CHARLIE is running a good business or not.

I looked at Dish and decided they were way too risky. As a customer, you have no idea if you're going to get the programming you signed up for. One day it could just disappear, like GolTV. Even if Directv is more expensive, at least you know that they will do anything to get you as many programming options as possible.
