I didn't see any of the magnificent Arsenal victory over Chelsea. Nor did I see any of the ManUre game, the other big game they've won so far this season.
This could be why they won these games.
I may be a jinx: I only got started this season, and of the four games I've seen at Nevada Smith's (I'm a 45-minute bus ride from NYC), there were two losses (West Ham and Aston Villa), a crummy draw that they didn't deserve to get a point out of (Sunderland), and a game where they were losing at the half and I left and THEN they came roaring back in the second half to win (Everton).
So either I've got to not watch the Gunners, or watch them somewhere else. Or maybe it's just a rather large coincidence.
If you think I am a jinx, break it to me gently. I don't want to go down in history as the guy who cost Arsenal (so far) 8 points, which, for the moment, would make a bit of difference.
