fantastic result against Schalke and we stay up :)

Benni Auer on the scoresheet again

Good to see Eintracht stay up too because derby games are always nice to have ;)

What a battle for the last relegation place though! Wolfsburg vs lautern.....

Good job for Mainz. I guess you're the "local" club for my uncle as he lives in Wiesbaden.

Benjamin Auer is leaving Mainz this summer, destination unknown.

Article (http://www.kicker.de/content/news/artikel.asp?folder=3100&object=332356&liga=1&saison=2005%2F06&spieltag=34&gruppe=23507)

The article also stated that Mainz are interested in Cacau and Gambino.

Mainz also signed attacking midfielder Bakary Diakité from SV Wehen (Regionalliga Süd).

I admit I have a soft spot for them too. Like I said earlier in this thread my uncle lives in Wiesbaden, just across the river from Mainz. Last summer I was able to visit their stadium while vacationing there. He of course is a Bayern supporter.

Chadli Amri from Saarbrücken. :)

Well, he has the kind of experience you need in the relegation battle and then of course in BuLi 2......

noobie question:

Could someone kind tell me if it's possible to catch some games featuring FSV Mainz in New York? Fox Soccer Channel don't really televise Bundesliga...

Does anyone know if there is like a German pub in Manhattan/Brooklyn area that might play some games?

p2p options don't help me much since my connection at home sux...

Also is this pretty much the biggest Mainz fan board in english?

Your help is much appreciated. Again, thanx.

Can´t really help you sorry, but found a list of sports bars in NY,
perhaps you can find something on their websites
or you can ask them (phone or mail), if they show BL and which matches.

football pubs in NY (http://www.livesoccertv.com/New-York-soccer-pubs.php)
(look at the websites of the bars to get information, if they show BL matches)
