Chelsea
1. they are a mess. There calling for the return of there youth squad....Crespo and schevchenko:D
2. There starting LW is florent malouda.
3. Deco is a bust, and only plays against West brom
4. Theyve lost ALL of there big games so far, not up to the test in terms of quality and hunger for it.
5. Fans are allready calling for Scolari to be axed.
6. The Russian Rubles have apparently dried up.
7. No youth set-up or young players coming up to help the first team
8. No stadium plans or funds for that matter
9.Outside of essien, and carvalho, most of that team is in there 30's and are all enjoying there glory moments NOW, i wonder where they'll be come 2-3 years...they will never be barcelona. LOL!
Liverpool
1. Basically a two man team. Honorable mention for riera(sp)?, alonso, and macherano but they just dont provide goals, merely draws are ensured with them.
2. Ownership dissaray
3. 18 months on and there promised new stadium is long forgotten.
4. Again, No youth academy
5. No squad depth outside of there starting XI
6. Might be forced into emergency sale of players to create funds for transfers
7. LFC motto- Defend for 90 minutes until ref awards us our bogus injury time PK or captain Stevie dives to "earn" us the PK
Manchester United
1. Huge financial Debt
2. Difficult to keep players hungry for success coming off there latest trophy run of the past two years.
3. Fergie has been hit hard by selection issues, and is yet to find a way to work berbatov, tevez, rooney, and ronaldo out, while keeping all 4 happy.
4. As ronaldos goals have dried up, so have Uniteds it seems.
And finally, a small mention for our little Neighbors Down the road, You are still in the relegation fight, Have no ambition in life other than to be US, and justify- a new manager every 12 months, a shite squad of players, a bad director, paying obscene amounts of money for league 2 quality players, no CLASS, -By winning a carling cup last year:cool: Get real, You guys are Fecked.
ARSENAL FC
Football is a strange game, you never know what can happen. Now, im not saying we are going to win the PL , but hey, you Never know! Stranger things have happened. But, i for one, am Ecstatic that we are atleast Fighting for it, and now have some hope that the players want it and will fight for it, To the END.
It would be amazing if we could hang in there, battle out results like so many other teams do, and get 3 points week in week out, setting ourselves up for a title push come april and may.
As a fan, i want to thank the team for giving me my "beeleeeef" back! I'll admit,Im dissapointed i started to doubt, But, Could this be the year!? Are we witnessing History in the making?! you never know!
Believe!

I've always believed that the title isn't won against the top four. When two of the top four meet, throw current form out the window, anything can happen when the big clubs go at it.
If we want to continue to narrow this gap we need to start burrying the minnows. On the surface it's simple.
EDIT
I believe we can do it. I'm not giving up on these kids.

I agree, we Need to start Demolishing the "smaller" teams, But, i cant remember where, but i remember seeing how the winner of the Big4 "mini table" has usually won the PL.
We arent clear cut favorites, but honestly, Who is this year? We could do it is all im saying.

Thank you.
Those are Your thoughts, These were mine.
My post is that things arent as bad as some papers make them out to be, we could be one of those other teams.

Those other teams are ahead of us by 6-10 points a piece and we are 2-3 points above Hull and Villa. I agree that many of the top teams are not viable financially. But, I'd not write them off.
I believe that we can win the CC, make it to the semifinals of CL and finish in the top 4 of EPL. I also believe that we can WIN, yes WIN the FA cup with healthy players.

Liverpool have a very good youth system and some real quality players on the come up...
Chelsea are not as good as some believed...
ManU will still be in there, and Liverpool remind me of us last season at this time...

Wow. One game, admittedly against Chelsea, is still just 3 points. Not 6. Not 8. Does it have the potential to change things? Sure. But as it stands, potential doesn't win anything. We've got to turn it into something.
Say what we want about Chelsea et al, but look at the top of the table. Winning one off games against ManU and Chelsea doesn't win you the title. Consistency does. That is why, IMO, the way we play over the course of several games vs. any given result is more telling about what we will consistenly do over the course of the season. I mean, yes, we beat Chelsea and Manu. But where we are, and where they are in the table says something. Any given match can turn on random key moments (e.g. if Kalou was ruled onsides, if RvP was ruled offsides, if Terry doesn't get sent off -- oh yeah, he didn't). Random moment will lead to dropped points. But a consistent team can weather random moments leading to dropped points because they'll pick up the tough points consistenly, and will play with a level of consistency. You can't control these random moments, but you can control how you play. And if you watch matches, regardless of the score, you can see who is playing good, cohesive football consistently, scoring consistently, defending consistently. More often than not, over the course of several matches, that will tell you who will be challenging.
So basically, we are where we should be now. Fourth. And until we start climbing and being consistent, it may be a bit to soon to write off the teams ahead of us -- two of em which have been dominating the league for the last few years. I think what you're talking about is hope, which we all have. At some point, I hope that our hopes and reality converge.

ive been saying this about Chelsea all season... they could win the league by being flat track bullies... but I think more teams are going to start puttinig 11 behind the ball and they will be in a lot of trouble... and in every big team they played this year, the only ones they beat was Roma and that was on a set piece... they got tonked in Rome 2 weeks later...
that team is not that good...

Wow, this board has turned into a bunch of moaning minnies! A guy makes a half-tongue in cheek post to raise everybody's spirits, and gets all this in return? Crazy...
Let's not forget, though, the most important difference between us and the rest of those teams. We don't support them. I mean, we could, but what would that make us? I'd rather not think about it ;)

Fans always fluctuate between highs and lows. Some make complete idiots out of themselves during the lows though.
