While I have travelled a great deal, this is a new part of the world for me and I would welcome comments on places to see/road trips/etc. Food and drink suggestions would also be great.

Countries of greatest interest - initially - are Hungary Romania,Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and Northern Italy. Will probably build a few trips around WCQ games in those countries as well

Thoughts, insights and comments appreciated

Slovenia I have another friend that's living in Europe right now. He's been to probably 10 countries already and said Slovenia is his favorite by a longshot.

Thanks Nicodemus...very cool

I have heard a lot about Slovenia (all good) and it looks like work will be taking me there as well

From web seraches and such, have come across a lot of interesting places to check out

Croatia is also looking like a great place to check out
