For all of the referees that are going to Orlando for the tournament at the end of the year, what is provided/not provided for referees? I am talking about accomodations, food, anything like that. If you have any insight on this, please help me out. I am trying to make the decision on if it is worth the money I would have to put out to go.

Thanks.

I've gone the last two years. They give you a hotel room, two years ago it was a townhouse with 7 refs (no morning bfast) and last year it was a courtyard with breakfast (3 refs in the room). They give you a $10 voucher for lunch, which will cover you maybe. If you are a state ref they will also give you $100 in travel expenses. You can expect about $100 a day from game fees. You will need a car there or make connections with other refs while there.

The last few Disney tournaments they have changed the $10 voucher to a provided box lunch.

Probably because of people like me that saved the vouchers and spent them later that night on pleasure island.

And now even Pleasure Island is gone...

For your 100 bucks in fee's per day, is that center and 2 lines?

Last year was $25 for AR, $50 for center. They try to limit you to two games a day ($75), but you may get three ($100).

There is actually a CT referee going down there. Ask him to take you salsa dancing.

And if you meet some guys from Cleveland tell them Mr. Wizard says "hi".
