I was looking at the FSW schedule for this week and noticed a strange listing for Saturday at noon EST. It reads "OmniLife Special", it also says "Open Captioned in English". Isn't this Jorge Vegara's herbal supplement company? I don't know if anyone caught it, but during one of the games this Saturday there was a cheesy commercial for OmniLife. How come this doesn't go down as Paid Programming like the rest of the infomercial crap? Is this what we can expect now that Vegara is buying his way into Chivas?

Vergara bought 2 hours of time on FOX Sports World.

FOX Sports World is doing its annual December "infomercial festival" (TM) in order to make a few more bucks.

Notice that 3-4pm ET on most weekdays will be infomercials starting December 15.

At least those are listed as "Paid Programming" on the schedule. This is listed as though it is some kind of FSW programming.

When the A-League, MISL, or US Soccer buys time on FOX Sports World, the telecasts are NOT listed as paid programming.

Vergara has enough money to throw around. If he paid enough to get his program listed as "Omnilife Special", then he got his program listed as "Omnilife Special", and FOX Sports Int'l will gladly take Vergara's check and deposit it.

Point well taken, but you know what I mean. At least those are actual sports programs and have some relationship with regular FSW programming.

You'll see Gunthy-Renker (big Infomercial outift) listed in the program guides sometimes as well.

As well as one of those Girdiron Gambling hotline shows that FSW aired on Saturday morning during the last few months.

The worst part is that we have to wait until 6:00 to see Liverpool and Soton.

I had to stay off all soccer related websites today
to avoid getting the result of this game! This Vegara
guy mist have a lot of clout to bump the Premiership
from its normal Saturday afternoon timeslots.
Another bummer is that there's no Sky News
tonite - I love watching all the lower league UK
action too
