I thought I would start a thread for people to pick and discuss their favourite players all over the pitch and reasons of why they are so in favour of that player!

This could also lead to another idea I am currently already involved in. There is a dream team league I have gotten into, I think it would be good to set one up in a league just for the readers of this forum to compete in!

See who has the rights to the banter of best amatuer pundit. I'm sure most of you have done it before, and it's in the same category of Frasers game for guessing the results and score lines league. Would be a good idea to see who picks the better of the bunch in different leagues, but might take a lot of work to monitor as mine only involved the whole EPL but I would like to see one involving all the leagues!

Anyway, I'll kick off the first Idea.

My first pick would be Fabregas!

Been a big fan of his and the reasons behind this is because first off, he is even younger than me and playing at such high levels. He always enjoys his game and his passing, vision, pace and even striking are at most times genius. I think he should be more involved in the Spanish side and I think as time goes on he will be a big figure in the team.

Arsenal made him captain but I still think if they don't start winning Silverware that he will move on to a much bigger team, like Celtic. :D

an unlikely choice some might say but he's a player that i always remember wishing i'd seen more of. i always enjoyed watching him on TV playing for Nottm Forest or Scotland. physically he looked anything but a winger but he could put in some terrific crosses. Clough loved him and he was voted number 1 Forest player of all time.

here he is scoring the goal that won Forest the 1980 European Cup.

I'd go for Fernando Redondo. What a player he was and he made everything look so simple. I'll never forget when he did this against Man U.
