I'm looking to purchase a ball but am not sure what type/dollar amount will get a good ball. I've purchased a couple cheap ones which ended up lopsided or wouldn't hold any air. Obviously $15 is not going to get a world class ball, and I'd like to get one that plays well and lasts longer than a couple months, but doesnt cost $100+.
I found the MLS Kappa replica for $40, which looked ok. Any recommedations?

Brine Phantom. $40-50. Excellent ball.

Thanks calcio...we used a Brine ball (not sure which one or how much) in high school and it was a good ball.

I find that most nike balls are good and resonably priced...However, the Brine balls are top class as calcioguy9 said, and are a very good price for their quality.

Brine balls suck. Theyre all heavy and hard. Other balls like Nike r hard too but theyre lighter and i play more comfortable with them. I have the Nike T90 Catalyst ball and so far its a very good ball but the only problem im having is that some of the air still seems to get out even thought the ball has some syatem to keep it in. Maybe im kicking the ball to hard or the ball bouncing on concrete makes some of the air escape.

I only trust Adidas/Nike/Umbro/Mitre/Puma
Go with the big names
They are usually quite reliable
I had a Adidas Tremor MS and it's a good trainning ball.
The Euro 2004 replica is good as well
I recently got the Geo Merlin off Ebay. It's fantastic

Im not sure about the first ball but the second one looks fake. If u check the eurosport catalogue the little 90 on the ball is black and on the one in ebay its blue. Then the premiership logo that the real ball has is as small as the 90 but on the ebay ball the logo is huge.

Not sure about the first one as they have positioned the ball so the writing bit isn't showing. As for the second one I'm pretty sure it is a cheaper version of the total 90 ball called the toal 90 swift PL. It's a bit of a rip off cause where I live it's only a tenner and he's charging £20. :D

i recommend the adidas finale sportivo which retails $30-$40
i have tried the adidas fevernova glider and nike electra t90 and loved the finale sportivo over these soccer balls

Seeing as with the first one he cut off where it shows which ball it is im gonna say its the cheaper version. Id say the 2nd one isnt the top notch one either.
i mean a ball is a ball when it comes down to it :). In some parts of the world they play with bare feet and rocks...

I love the feel and durability of the Select brand balls. Danish company. They can be found in better soccer stores. The "Number 10" model is around $40 and is a great ball that lasts me several seasons and keeps its shape nicely.
