First Offside on Robinho - 6:35 on the video - clearer replay at 7:10.
Was he off?
Second, Goalkeeper infringement on Van Persie - 8:40 on the video.
Did he infringe?
The rule states: "prevents the goalkeeper from releasing the ball from his hands"
Is that what happened?

1. Looks like he was on. Not a perfect replay angle though.
2. Yup, he infringed. In the US, ATR makes it easy, one may not interfere with a goalkeeper punt.
Even in FIFA's Interpretation section, it says "A player must be penalised for playing in a dangerous manner if he kicks or attempts to kick the ball when the goalkeeper is in the process of releasing it."
Good call.

I watched that live.
I thought the Robinho case was too close to call either way and I'm on eof those who doesn't pop that flag unless I'm sure he's off. It was the type of attacking football we would all ove to watch. His chip for the goal is something else too.
V.Persie is an A-one jerk who should know better than attempt that type of play. It is a foul. Period. And he should have gotten a yellow for his efforts. He's a fantastic player, but a complete idiot.

Issue #2.
The referee was correct, though I believe in my heart that V.Percy should have been cautioned and shown the yellow card for unsporting behavior.
IFAB has held that the keeper is deemed still in possession of the ball while releasing the ball from the hands and before it has hit the ground on a punt.

I think van Persie should have been cautioned as well.
This thing happens every so often and I don't understand why people continue to try and then act befuddled when it's called back. Henry tried to do it a few years ago on Brad Friedel and it was called back then. It's definitely 100% illegal.

Thanks for the video link it was pretty damn clear for YouTube standards.
On the first goal, impossible to tell from the TV angle. But, I am leaning that he was in an offside position on the kick of the ball. I will take the AR's signal since he was spot on with the second to last defender. Excellent positioning.
On the second play, Wiley missed an easy cautionable offense by not cautioning Van Persie on a very cynical attempt to interfere with the goal keepers release of the ball into play.
Otherwise, I must say that Wiley had a terrific match. Great no call on a handball that Arsenal appealed for a penalty, but clearly was a case of the ball playing the player and the late penalty call deep into stoppage.

#1 looks off to me
#2 This guys a pro and he doesn't know he can't kick the ball out of the keeper's hand? You gotta be kidding me. Should have been cautioned
