Your teams dreamteam

OK so a bit of reminiscing about the players I used to watch for Rangers got me thinking about a dreamteam.

So just a few rules.

1. You can only pick players from your lifetime watching football. So no Slim Jim for me.
2. 7 subs are allowed.

Right I'll be back once I work this Rangers dream team! I'm pretty sure it will destroy all before it...

I really struggled with that right back position and considered Gary Stevens. Gio and Trevor Steven also deserve a special mention for not making the bench.

I’ve think it is a little bit unbalanced in midfield and I’d be relying on my captain (Souness) to hold it all together. But who do you leave out?

I’ve put Mols in because before he got his injury he was something special and I think he would create loads of goals for McCoist. It was hard to leave out Hateley for him.

Anyway I’m sure I’ll revisit this team a few more times.

Once thing for certain is it would be a joy to watch this team!

Petrov was a good player but he isn't in the calibre of McStay and Lambert is a different kind of central midfielder. he adds balance to the side.

Petrov, for me, at times was a bit like Scott Brown. Always good to have a holding midfielder with an attacking minded player, thats why Robson/Hartley worked last season I think.

shocking how we ever pulled any silverware with any of the above donkeys on the squad, save Rozental who could never get fit, but was awesome.

It's funny for me to say this, being a Celtic fan, but coming from a sporting view I would have loved to see a Hutton/Laudrup combination in any team.

Hutton plays amazing in a Scotland shirt (in general I think ANY scottish setup) and I liked Laudrup as a player. I remember I got told I out classed the whole A Team at a local league team when I was younger (I trained in the B team because I was new) because I kept setting up goals, but the boy who latched onto all my passes and crosses was known as Laudrup! :D
