Favorite Uniform

So we all have a preference of what color Uniform we like to where. It may depend on what makes us look the best, or just a personal preference. So im curious whats your favorite color and why. Also if you had a choice would you prefer to where a foreign jersey? After watching a serie A game today, i fell in love with there all red (shirt, Shorts, socks) diadora uniform. Some people like the EPL jersey. So what's your take on referee jerseys in the United States, and across the world.

I prefer my red to any other color....just because I like red.

If I had a choice, I would never wear OSI/current uniforms again.

My old Law Five shorts with the extra long pockets.

My oldest pair of double thick black socks with white solid tops.

I agree on red and on my dislike for OSI/uniforms. I really like the current Adidas stuff. I think the Italian uniforms look good on the Italian referees. I'm less sure they would look good on me.

Ditto on the black. I just can't pick up my AR's when wearing black, and vice- versa.

i find this interesting. All four of the full time MLS referees said there favorite uniform of OSI, was the classic black! It seems most people here hate the black!

Wow people, what little sense of style many of you have. The Adidas uniform looks like a glorified U23 or U21 players uniform. You know the kind I'm talking about a cheap T shirt with an iron on number on the back and a club logo on the front left breast, because the players don't want to spend a nickle on their uniforms. The uniform looks cheap. It doesn't have a collar. Hell the uniform isn't even black it's charcoal gray or dark blue.

My favorite is the OSI red uniform with the narrow pin stripes, but my all time favorite is the France 1998 Adidas uniforms.

My favorite OSI jersey is the long black. But I'd perfer to where the gray Adidas kit any day.

I was fortunate enough to win a full set of the Serie A Diadora - shirt (LS unfortunately), shorts & socks - at the NISOA camp last year. We had two Italian exchange instructors come in and they brought the black, orange & yellow - I snagged the yellow. It is awesome, both in looks and in feel. There is an R & an L on the socks to make sure the black stripe is on the correct side. The angled pockets are groovy and the zippered collar on the side is so stylish. I kinda look like PLC, and if wearing this makes me a tenth of the referee he is, I'll be happy.

I wear it every now and again on single-man stuff.

I like NISOA black, but agree that black does indeed make it hard to find my ARs (esp AR2 when he or she is surrounded by parents) or me find my centre when running a line. This is only exacerbated at night.

I had the '98 WC and loved it also. That was when I was a 100% Adidas referee, before I started drinking the OSI Cool Aid!

All im going to say is i'm completely jealous of the Serie A uniforms. I would love for us to adopt the their jerseys!
