Are other Time Warner LA Goltv customers getting english language audio as of right now?
As of about Tuesday my Goltv, in the redondo beach area has been only in Spanish. it was always in English before. I even have games tivoed in English. Time Warner don't know anything. If you wanted to be driven postal give them a call. Does anyone know what's going on.

try changing your cable box's audio setting to spanish instead of english and see if you get english on goltv. I know it sounds backwards, but give it a shot.

Same thing happened to me sometime last week...before the weekend for sure.
Back when I got the Spanish package, GolTV was in Spanish and I asked for it to be in English. Person I talked to had no clue...they suggested changing the audio setting like post 2 recommends...seemed like a good idea but it didn't work. Several days after giving up, it was changed to English for no reason which was cool.
I'll have to call them again. :(

Thanks. Yes i tried changing the audio settings already. It does nothing. It is still in spanish. Time Warner is clueless. So i assume you guys are in L.A., on Time Warner, and still getting English language?
by the way when i lived up north the spanish track did deliver english audio once because comcast reversed the channels on accident.

that it does. i'd have checked this earlier except crap timewarner has had my internet out all day. I'm so gonna switch to Fios or Direct TV if i can. Well like i said mine was in english until a few days ago. Not to mention that TimeWarner customer service hella gave me the runaround, lied to me about attending to the problem, and even refused to send a technician out. Amazingly i never thought a company could be worse then Comcast. Oh how wrong I was.

So I called Time Warner for the first time today (Saturday) concerning GolTV changing the audio to Spanish....in the end, they blame the broadcaster (GolTV) for the audio changing to Spanish. I told them that was not reasonable. They said sorry and there was no one else they could check with to look into the situation.
So...before I start a new thread asking these questions...can anyone in the know advise what Time Warner CAN do? I have no doubts that it is Time Warner that can control the audio, right??? Can they actually change audio between English and Spanish on a house to house basis or is it one language for a region of homes?
I think I will contact GolTV (I only see a fax # and Email address) but I wonder if I'll even get a response.

I lost my English audio to Gol TV on Wednesday (before the second Copa Real game) and have tried to change my audio settings, but it hasn't worked.
My brother lives in Hayward and has Comcast Hayward and it is the same thing.
