These "Africans" you're refering to were born and raised in France, therefore they are French. Whats so hard to understand about that ? Very few of the black players who play for France were born in Africa.

I think the reason that the best French players are non white is because the traditional (white) French population has never really embraced football in huge numbers while these non white players from immigrant backgrounds come from places where football is a much bigger deal. Even a lot of the great white French players like Kopa and Platini came from immigrant backgrounds so this is nothing new. The traditional white French population just cant produce massive amounts of good players as proven throught out history. An all white French team with only players with French last names just wouldnt be very good.
