Chivas v. America will be the first match. The game will be played in Houston. Can't find any links, but I heared it yesterday on A Nivel de Cancha.

I've been looking around for any info...and I get nothing. On the interliga website it just says that the info will be posted shortly.

I fully expect Pachuca to obtain one of the spots for Copa Libertadores or at least go all out in an effort to qualify.
Jesús Martínez has always said that "internationalization" of the club is a top priority, now is the chance to prove it. Even though Superliga and CCL are international tournaments I'm getting tired of us playing in those crap tournaments and not Libertadores.

Well the Pachuca players won't have much of a vacation seeing as they have to play the Club world cup in December.

From a rumor/"extra information" column:
Las dos grandes compañías de televisión abierta en México, Televisa y TV Azteca, difícilmente transmitirán los partidos del Torneo Interliga 2009, ya que la empresa SUM, organizadora del evento, se dejó pedir la nada despreciable suma de 20 millones de dólares por los derechos. La propuesta es que cada televisora pague 10 millones de dólares, pero ambas televisoras están de acuerdo en no hacerlo y abstenerse de transmitir el Interliga.
Esta decisión de las televisoras mexicanas puede ser una medida de presión para que el Interliga 2009, sea la última edición que organice la empresa SUM, que tiene convenio hasta 2010. La forma en que la FMF compensaría la cancelación del Interliga 2010, es ofreciendo cuatro partidos más de la Selección mexicana en Estados Unidos.
La próxima semana se pronunciarán oficialmente las televisoras mexicanas y de confirmarse la negativa para transmitir el Interliga 2009, los partidos serían vistos únicamente por Fox Sports en señal por cable, ya que esta empresa tiene convenio por cinco años con SUM para transmitir el Interliga hasta 2010.http://www2.informador.com.mx/deportes/2008/59772/6/futbol-sin-balon.htm

Tickets for InterLiga 2009 are on sale for each venue. Below is detailed information on how to purchase tickets at each location:

when does this contract end with SUM in terms of the national team playing friendlies in the US?
