On Weds, Nov 19th, Dana White in an interview with Yahoo Sports:
We’re looking for guys who want to work with us and not against us, and frankly I’m just so [expletive] sick of this [expletive] it’s not even funny,” White told Yahoo Sports. “Affliction is still out there trying to build its company. Let [Fitch] go work with them. Let him see what he thinks of those [expletives]. [Expletive] him. These guys aren’t partners with us. [Expletive] them. All of them, every last [expletive] one of them
Wow, this is a big thing. Many great fighters in this camp (Jon Fitch, Josh Koshchek, Cain Velasquez, Mike Swick to name a few) This is all because these guys didn't sign an agreement for a UFC video game -- set for release by THQ in 2010 -- wasn’t based on compensation. The main sticky point is that this agreement is a lifetime exclusive contract. That means anyone from AKA would never ever be able to work with any video game companies other than the one the UFC provides. This is kind of messed up. I feel for these guys, cause there are not that many top flight fight organizations after the collapse of both Pride FC & Elite XC. I thought monopolies were illegal in the USA.
