In the past England national team games were always available on DISH via PPV. This year there's been nothing offered. Not even the England vs Germany match which is very surprising.
Anyone know why?

Because GolTV has the rights to air it in the US?
(Setanta and/or FSC have most of the rights to the WCQ, I'm pretty sure as well)

dude, there's more england football on tv than usa footy. calm down. I'd rather they increase USA footy and decrease others if they have to.

Between MLS, USL on FSC, USMNT, there's a lot...it's just not really in season now. Blame it on the ex-pats. They'll gladly watch their native leagues (can you blame them?) but a lot of them turn a blind eye to MLS/US Soccer.

There is plenty of US football on TV...four MLS matches per week during the season (Thur- ESPN2(HD), Sat-HDNet (HD), and FSC, and Sun-TeleFutura), plus weekly USL (second division) and College matches. Additional MLS and College matches are available on regional sports networks. More coverage of US teams has recently become available via telecasts of Superliga and CONCACAF Champions League. You would expect, however, for England to have more telecasts available, since England has a larger and more established professional team structure than the US, plus its popularity results in a larger amount of available telecasts (plus the splitting of the PL coverage has resulted in more telecasts of lower level leagues since stations like Sky are filling timeslots formerly occupied by PL soccer with lower level games).

GolTV has a deal with Germany to show home games, so this game (which was in Germany) fell under that.
