All this does is reinforce to me to call only what I see and trust my instincts. If anyone thinks we can cover the game as completely as 8 cameras from different directions and elevations with stop motion and replay they are smoking crack.

And is anyone surprised that the announcers and reporters do not know the laws very well.

I have often thought that if they require one announcer to be an ex-player they should have one that is a certified ref. Then while the ex-player is screaming at the call the the ref could yell about how stupid a dive that was!

My preference when watching a game on TV is to find the Spanish-language channel and watch it there - that way I can't understand what stupid comments may be made by the guys in the booth! :lol:
