Lambert, McNamara, Ferguson, McCann and Naysmith out injured, while Pressley is rested. Vogts expected to play Dundee United's Paul Gallacher in goal, with Birmingham's Paul Devlin in midfield. Crawford and Thompson to continue up front following their impressive Iceland display, with Aberdeen's Russel Anderson to play in defence. Vogts is considering playing James McFadden in the U-21 match against Ghana tonight, so may not feature against Canada :(.

I think Scotland might win 2-1 as well.

Scotland U-21s currently 2-0 up on Ghana - Caldwell (2 mins) and Kerr (14 mins). James McFadden playing from start so will probably miss out on Canada game.

Our-21's seem to be doing helluva well of late.

Kerr is a Newcastle reserve player, who is sort of on the fringes of the first squad. (he made a sub appearance in one of their Champions' League qualifiers)

McFadden might still play a bit tonight as he was taken off very early in the second half last night.

Half time: 1-1

Canada took a 9th minute lead when Anderson fouled De Rosario for the second time in 30 seconds. De Rosario sent Gallacher the wrong way from the spot. Scotland were level within minutes when Gemill's through ball found Crawford running clean through on goal and he fired home.

Scotland missed a great chance on half time but Canada are by far the better team. They should have had a second penalty when Wilkie handled on the line but the ref (and the Canadian players) didn't see it.

Im watching it and were being overrun in the midfield, dailly is a defender, devlin plays on the right for his club and gemmill is just crap.
We need to get a few midfielders in their right positions and we can control the midfield and cut their strikers off.

Scotland have made tactical changes at half time which involved Paul Devlin being pushed out wide and he has had a lot of joy down the right. Scotland on top and should be at least 3-1 up.

Scotland sub:
Scot Gemmill off for Scott Severin

And 3-1 it finished, as I said all he had to do was juggle the midfield and immidiately we took control, the goal was deserving on the second half performance, maybe the performance overall as the canucks only really had about half an hour of the game.
Decent win with so many players missing.
