biggest game of the year was today and not one post about it and to think I actually thought PSG and Marseille deserved their own team forums here. Obviously not enough interest here for that.

it was so big that I even made it a point to catch the replay on FSW, and I don't even follow ligue 1 all that much. There should have been more people talking about it.

Eh it was a pretty dull game anyways. Nothing significant happened until the 90th minute. Prior to that the only thing of note to happen was how many times Drogba fell down. Oh wait I forgot Mido did hit the post.

dull game or not, three ugly points for PSG could be the difference down the stretch.

well I taped the game hoping to watch it later tonight without knowing the result.
Well that's not going to happen now.

No worries, we've all done it, and of course we'll all do it again.
Probably saved me two hours of agony on the bright side.

You can pretty much fast forward until minute 75 or so.
OM was clearly the better of the two teams offensively, but as mentioned Drogba spent about 20 minutes of the game falling down, laying down, rolling around while down, or looking up after he'd fallen down to see if he'd gotten a call. He was fouled a few times and he had some dangerous runs in the second half, but he spent so much time diving it was embarassing. The Mido shot was excellent, and well saved by Alonzo (with more than a bit of help from the post).
PSG really sneaked one out there, they didn't deserve a win but they got the points. PSG's offense looked pretty timid, and mostly revolved around Pauleta yelling about ball placement.
This was a banner matchup but the game didn't live up to it, sadly. They play again in Paris at the end of the season, when likely they will be fighting for points to decide the title. Hopefully that will be a better game.

Marseille didn't play a good game, they were tired by the match against real(especially Drogba), but OM deserved to win this game, they miss their shot at several times, head of Mido, head of Van Buyten, Mido only in front of Alonzo etc...
and the referee forgott a penalty on Vachousek, and on their only occasion, in counter, they scored a goal in the 90th minute, we call that a HOLD UP!
