The big yellow jersey would probably be too much, but anyway we could get the La Turbina/HSH/Crew Union banners into the stadium?

Confetti? I have a feeling they frown upon streamers, but this is all stuff we should look into.

If I go, i'll take the Columbus flag...if not, i'll certainly "loan" it out so it can go.

Drums? Last I looked, drum sticks were not allowed. I have NO idea how the hell you're supposed to hit a drum with your hand, or if that rule has a loophole somewhere.

Likewise, if this stuff needs to be checked into a certain gate, all these questions need answered.

The "Where You Go We'll Follow" banner should be finished by the end of the week.

From the Roll Call thread:

TownKrier has:
Be Massive My Friend
Nordecke
Crew Union

I have:
Massive
Strike First, Strike Hard, No Mercy
Columbus Union Jack
C|R
E|W
In It To Win It

I'm going to work my damnedest to make one this week that says "Do What You Do"

I'm checking a bag with nothing but banners and zip ties in it, so hopefully Garber doesn't call NorthWest and have them lose my bag.

Tailgating the authorities turn a blind eye, unless you start tossing bottles about, havent seen any grills either, the guys bring pre-cooked food and usually a woman comes round with a trolley selling bacon wrapped hot dogs. The main thing they dont go for is smoke bombs and flares, the president of the ACB supporters group got banned for life a few weeks ago for dropping a smoke bomb on the floor, but a life ban wouldnt probably be a problem to you guys, oh and in section 125 you are in direct line of the cameras so your buddys will see you back home.

Damn a life ban over a smoke bomb?! Just for LA games or the HDC as a whole?

Thanks for the info, for the folks heading out, is there a lot of room to hang banners as well?

Can we get the MVP one as well? When Gullie wins it next week it deserves to be there as well.

I just heard back from one of the LA supporters. We may have to get this pre-approved. I'm checking with them to get a contact name/number.

a LIFE BAN for Smoke ??? damn, theyre really pushing for a MLB/NBA, Lets take the family out for a 'picnic', English modern football style atmosphere. its a sad thing, lets just hope it doesnt reach other cities. they'll learn that soccer moms and families didnt make this league successful, one day...

Yep banned for all galaxy games, rescinded his season ticket, took his photo so security can recognise him and dont laugh its cruel, he is a ginga ninja so the photo was superfluous. Crazy thing is he was a real nice lad who wouldnt do anyone any harm.
bASICALLY ANYTHING GOES EXCEPT PYRO, BANNERS DRUMS WHATEVER, but no pyro.

How about short flagpoles?

I just got this email:

The game is being put on by HDC, not the Galaxy. Christian Webb at 310-630-2004 might be a good guy to start with, but at least he can tell you who to contact.

Apparently the Galaxy FO acts like they're seperate from HDC staff and AEG staff and are quite unhelpful with supporter needs/wants.

I'll give him a call on Monday so that we can get the specifics. If there's not a problem on short flagpoles, anyone who gets out there Friday needs to find a Home Depot or Lowe's and grab a dozen or more 5 foot pvc pipes. I'll grab as many black and gold checkered flags as the FO has left and bring those in my banner suitcase as well as a a couple of Ohio flags and we'll secure them with the zip ties that I'm bringing.

Confetti is generally OK but you have to get it into the stadium before the game, some one from Home Depot Center can help you with that, streamers are OK in the seating area, but you CAN NOT throw ANYTHING on the field- you might be ejected if they catch you so you have to be careful that the streamer do not end up on the pitch.

The people a the gate will not allow confetti or streamers if they see it.

I see Chivas fans throw things on the field all the time, is this just a galaxy rule or an HDC rule?

It is supposed to be a Home Depot Center rule, but they let Shitvas fans get away with anything. I have seen Shitvas fans(at a Galaxy v Shitvas game) clearly violating the law with flares and fire works; the LA County Sheriffs have said they do not want to cause a riot with Shitvas fans, because they know they will riot- so thet get away with any thing. Our founder of the Angel City Brigade got banned for life for a smoke bomb- no Shitvas fans get banned for even more such things.

Post of the day....one has to spread fear or a sense of ownership in order to get things in their way. When Section 8 lit that 1 flare on Thursday, security went IN and ejected him. But you see so many stadiums in Europe that do ban Pyro, but groups like BBB are so fearful that when they do something like that, security wont dare to bother them. Looks like Chivas got a reputation :D no one should set a limit on what supporters do in the stands. especially rowdy ones

But see the difference might be that they don't have asshats that decide to throw the pyro on the field. Thursday I counted two good smoke pyro thrown from the Nordecke that if kept in the stands, would have also had the impact that you see in Houston and DC.
