Oooo, me likey!
Can this not be the opening post and title of the new thread?

Such a story is too dear to be lost or forgotten.

Heh. Well whilst we're marking success/failure....

Seeing as bigg won't counsel me via blog anymore, and also coz it's near the end of the thread and I desperately need to bump my post count if I hope to win YET another NSR title (despite extraditing myself from here by-in-large), a scenario from a hypothetical loser....

So, erm, "this guy" was getting hassled by this chick for like forever, 6 months and she wouldn't leave him alone. Nothing explicit, but obvious interest was there - middle of nite fone calls about her hornyness etc etc. I, erm, this guy didn't bite until managing to out-wait her interest, then decided to suggest things at the worst possible time in the worst possible way, which made things awkward and gave away all the power. Frustrated, dude sat agrieved in the friendzone, now mainly wanting to get with her to triumph in this battle of wills, than any real interest. After teetering on the city-limits of sappsville, he lost him some interest and looked towards alternate distractions, almost dare I say it "moving on"...

Then today, her bday, dude manages to totally ignore her all day, no messages of well-wishes under any media. Would this bother her? Does it matter? Well, 1155pm and she texts him: "Happy Birthday to me, well remembered X x"....

EPIC WIN or no?

The post was going so well up until you used the word Epic...but yeah I'd say you won.

Well since our answers can be given to quickly and obviously, then yes, I agree that you won.

Of course, it depends just how long she's prepared to be strung along for. If not for any longer, and she's a hottie, then you've lost ass and gained only credit points for now.

Hah, when you as "skilled" with chicks as me, credit points are waaay more realistic than ass....

Rang me insessently at lunchtime, which was good until I cracked and txt'd back. No apology or mention of bday, so was winning as she replied, only then like a mug I again replied - giving her the power back so now I'm at best on for a tie......

Meh well

Oh and "Epic" is from the skizzictionary, thus has immediate cool...

Point to consider for the day:

Whatever happened to Red and Black Fury and his beef with Sanchy???

Does anyone here on this forum listen to Enter Shikari? If so, they played in New York City last night and it was by far the greatest show I had ever seen. I have never had such a good time at a concert. Their set was amazing and the lightshow was mindblowing.

Yeah mate Enter Shikari are intense, a regular fixture in the glovebox. Seen them 4 times before. New to you yanks I'm guessing. Been here a fair 5 years or so. Take to the Skies is a mint album.

Yes it is a sick album, I feel that Common Dreads is a bit too political but some songs deliver like no other.

I haven't got round to getting the new album, saw an advert for it a couple weeks ago and from what I heard on that they've become softer. I'm liking La Roux's album and Dizzee Rascal's new song at the moment.

Yeah they are definitely softer, but check out Juggernauts, Solidarity and Step Up. They are so good

Right well, ridiculously, despite a seemingly 8-year long sabbatical, I have won with 56 posts! To the new thread!
