As posted on the Voyageurs board.
The manager will attend the draw in Frankfurt on December 5 and meantime continues
preparatory work on next year’s friendlies. Scotland may finalise a match in Greece on
February 17 or 18, probably a home game on March 30 or 31, and then play Denmark in
Copenhagen on April 28. Vogts also wants a three-game tour of America at the end of
May with potential matches against the US, Canada and Mexico.

That could be an interesting game. Maybe they could they turn it into a round robin tourny.

If you put the Scotland game in the Northern New Jersey area, it would probatly do really well.

I saw this in the media over here yesterday.
This report also said that he would take the strongest available squad over ("time for experimenting is over"), so it wouldn't be like USA-Wales last season. Although no doubt certain individuals will cry off "injured".

Only if they put down real grass . The last time Scotland came across in '98 they had a really good crowd at RFK .... Certainly better than the match at New Britain CT in '96 . Still can't believe I made it home from that one alive ;) .

No doubt a shot at Bazza here . Must say he seems to want to play for the National team alot more since his move away from Rangers .

It was good fun . It was most likely the smallest stadium the Scots had played in before . The bleachers were almost right on top of the players . The look of horror on Cobi Jones' face was priceless when the TA started singing " He's queer , he's bent , his arse is up for rent , he's Cobi Jones , He's Cobi Jones " was priceless . Cobi got the last laugh though as he scored the winner for the USA .
The night before in downtown Hartford was absolutely a blast . The TA showed CT how to party that night , I still am fuzzy on some of the details of that night . The beers were flowing heavily . If you want to check out some stories of that trip look up a book called "Over the Top with the Tartan Army"

PLEASE!!! GIVER SOLDIER FIELD A US GAME!! Its only being put to good use in the summer, not the winter. Chicago is the home to the US Soccer Fed and we still cant get a game. It's a great stadium....give it a chance.

those teams mentioned do make it sound like a Nike Cup resurrection (or was it called the U.S. Cup?)
May would work in preparation for our first qualifying round as well (although the friendlies would provide a lot more opposition than the qualifier.
