First off, it's not a bird, and secondly it's not Salvadoran.
Find more information, click here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guanaco) or here (http://kids.nationalgeographic.com/Animals/CreatureFeature/Guanaco?source=pincl).\

Hi lads, been real busy recently, and i don't think I am going to get to any of the Under 17 games.. damn it....
Anyway, I have chanced my arm at FESFUT, and I have a chance of maybe interviewing Carlos de los Cobos and Manuel Salazar for my podcast ... as my podcast and blog is in English I have asked to do it in english, thought that might be cool and unusual ... but have to check first that they are OK to have their spoken English out in public, obviously.
Anyway, I thought I could sort of put some "readers questions" to them, and as I have no readers or listeners of my blog and podcast, I thought I would ask you lads if you have a specific question for them?
Also, on another issue, do you lot know any footy fans in El Salvador (or elsewhere in CemAM) who speak English, or some English? let me know cheers

yeah i actually got a question for you to ask to them
Do any of the players who play for the senior team have offers from clubs outside of the country besides Cheyo who's already having offers in South America.

Is Pato Baroches in his plans...?

Hey WIlliams deserves a spot, he is due to score. Salvador is another story, He has had an enourmous amout of minutes handed to him, and did nothing but squander scoring oppourtunities.

Welcome back mate! First off your blog is great man, congrats.
As for the questions i have one for DLC and Manuel Salazar.
DLC
1. Arturo 'artie' Alvarez seems to have his mind set on playing for the USA. Why are you still trying to persuade him to join El Salvador, after he hasn't shown any interest?
Manuel Salazar
2. Not to long ago El Salvador was considered, for lack of a better word a 'joke' in your opinion how have you all been able to turn it around? And what is the next step?
Ps. Might wanna use easier to understand words. :) lol...cheers mate!

No he doesnt, just because he scores in the league doesnt mean hes going to score with NT, is a whole different level... big difference between league & NT competitions... hes a club player not an NT player, he doesnt fit into DLC's game style...

Obviosly Salvador Correas has game to get a the amount of play he gets. I know he is fast, and I've seen him push our offense forward. WHo can we compare his game to, current or past players.

Though i agree on Salvador Coreas, let's not insult DLC's judgement.
PS. William Reyes contributes a lot, he might not score but he is always in the mix when he plays. Starts good runs, and helped out Fito when he got his hat trick.

My problem with him is that he is inconsistent.... He does have some game... but i dont know i just want to smack him around a little bit a ver si se aviva a veces es una vaca para jugar..:D i would like to see Alegria in his position...

Rudis is in the same boat then,. This guy hasnt made a goal since the china game and against anguilla. He has been very dissapointing. I dont want to hear some excuse about him being injured. We have to give these guys time to show their skill. I have not seen him blow any goal oppurtunities.

Rudis has been injured, he has played through his injury. Though, it was a silly move he didn't do it cause he didn't wanna get benched when he came back. He did it for El Salvador. Truth is Rudis when healthy has shown quality. You don't wanna hear an excuse saying he is injured? It's not an excuse when everyone in the team and the COACH knows it. Sometimes i really wish the lot of you would opened there eyes and realized the world of sport is really tough. Rudis is a proffesional in El Salvador, if he doesn't play that means even less money that he barely makes. I can guarantee Rudis when 100% will be better, he might not be another scorer but he contributes a lot. Beggers can't be choosers.

Well I hope he shuts my mouth up this coming game against the Ticos :D
What time does the Azulita play????

Then why would you want Barroche to play for us then? He's not even scoring goals with Firpo, so how's he gonna help in the national team. MAYBE if he was scoring consistently, then MAYBE he would be an option, but i still would rather we stick with our own. There's no need to go through the whole getting nationalized thing, when there is no guarentee that they will be any good, as some people seem to think is the case with Reyes.

Exactly.

Rudis being injured is not an excuse, it's a fact that can't really be put aside when your trying to understand why he hasn't been scoring. Hopefully he will come good before the Hex, cause he'll be an important player for us if we are to do anything special. Same goes for Reyes.

Great stuff, hopefully they give you the green light and you have a chance to interview them.
As for the questions, i think for DLC all that i'd really like to know is what he has planned for us after the Costa Rica game. As in, are we looking to have friendlies and if so, who are our options (South Americans, Europeans, Asians, Africans)? And if he thinks it would be benefitial for us to play outside the Americas, or if he would prefer playing our games here? Also, in regards to possible additions to the team, maybe you could ask if there are any plans to invite Efrain Burgos or Gerson Mayen to a training camp? Possibly one held in the US?
As for Salazar, i'd just like to know how he feels he has adapted since making his debut with the national team a few years ago? Does he feel his game has changed at all? And also, just in general, i'd be interested to know if he has gotten offers from other clubs?

?
Unfortunately El Pato is in a shi*y as* team, lets be realistic here... how many saw the first game against Pumas, he was the only one up there taking on the whole Pumas team, dont deny it the kid has skills maybe more skills than Reyes, You can see the different playing level between El Pato & the rest of the Firpo players... Reyes doesnt fit in the NT playing style.
On Rudys, its just plain stupid playing with an injury... not only does it affect him but it also affects the whole team... Oh & REyes did that also, he had a carrying injury while playing with the Selecta, thats just plain stupid...
