Kev and Fish will be back...you've gotta think Fat Tony and the Wiz are more than a little worried.

How do we top Saturday's second half?

I won't be able to attend the match, as I'm going to Lonon on Wednesday.

But cheer loudly for me.

The best thing about having another game just 4 days after such a solid performance is that we must put it behind us & move on.

We owe K.C. for that DREADFUL 2-2 draw back on July 20. That was a HORRIBLE performance by the G-men IMHO

With the season winding down, with the West (and the MLS) title within reach & with Hartman & Ruiz back in the lineup, I think we'll put in a MUCH better effort than July 20.

I predict a nice comfortable win for us, then a Dallas crushing of San Jose, and we both jump ahead (not sure on the tie breaker, but if it's anything goal/differential related we'll be in 3rd still) of the Landon Donovan 11.

What is that choking sound I hear coming from the north?

I don't know but does it have anything to do with The Money Shot?

of this last weekends fixtures are correct, the Galaxy should slam hapless KC to the turf.

K.C. is fresh off 2 weeks of consistent crappy play culminated by 6-1 trouncing by seriously mediocre Morelia.

4-0 trouncing by the Crew... this all presents quite a pretty picture for disaster for the Whiz!!

their defense is just a little faster than San jose Cyber-rays right now. And Meola couldnt save a shot if his life depended on it.

how he got 3rd string keeper in the WC i will never know... but its time to start thinking about the Jets Tony, the season is starting soon and they need a kicker.

if carlos comes back and team can flow even thru Klein who is a brutal tackler even the Scottish would be proud of. The Galaxy could put a 6 or 7 up on em', but if it gets to 3 or 4 i would get my
3-C-notes, cobi, carlos, cien out quick. garcia, and klein with be looking for revenge... and some legs to bust up!!!

The big difference for KC is that Meola will be back after his red card last week. I have to think part of their problem against the Crew was that in goal they had Oshoniyi, who, um, has done remarkably to stay in the league this long ;) .

Lets take a look at recent KC results. (home team listed first)

Yesterday: KC 0 - 4 C'bus
Wednesday: Chi 5 - 1 KC
Saturday: DC 0 - 0 KC (Fat Tony had to save 2 PKs to keep the point)
Wednesday: Morelia 6 - 1 KC

Things sure don't look good for KC right now.

If you guys don't beat the Wizards by at least 9-0 your team should be disbanded.

I hope the players don't have the over-confidence of the fans. If they think they can just walk out on the field and KC will roll over, they could be in for a rude awakening. This has all the earmarks of an ugly night. I can see Gansler playing classic bunker soccer, and there is always a chance that one defensive breakdown could lead to a cheap goal for his side. How many times have we watched LA batter its head against an opponent determined to play a negative game, and have nothing to show for it? Gansler's squad knows how to play that game to perfection.

At least we don't have to worry about the big crowd jinx tomorrow night. The question is, will there even be 10k there?

At the half, it's 1-0 Galaxy. Goal by, who else, Ruiz in the 31st minute.

Not a pleasant first half. We seem out of sync & there's NO excuse for that.

Hopefully, the second half will be different.

And it's final LA 2 KC 1.

Not the best win of the season, but especially at this point three points is three points!

As of tonight the race for the Shield is as follows:

Josers 42 points +16 GD (@COL, @DC, vCLB, @LA, vLA)

Good Guys 39 points +6 GD (@DAL, vMET, @CHI, vSJ, @SJ)
