The word is that Justin Mapp is a key player for the Fire and that he poses great difficulties late in games because of his combination of speed and skill. Now, his coach is Sarachan, a close friend of BA. So, one obvious question is how much BA and Sarachan talk about Fire players, and guys like Mapp, in particular? Then, extend this to other coaches like Bradley who also has assisted BA in national team games. I'm am sure they talk, too. Does BA directly or indirectly influence how the MLS coaches place their players on the field; how often they play? Do Sarachan, Bradley or any other MLS coach speak directly to BA about specific players and their potential for the USMNT? Does anyone have any clues about this?
