go the season without a loss? Highly unlikely, I know but the thought has crossed mine and I'm sure it has crossed others. I may be jinxing it by even saying it. More than likely it won't come against Chelsea, Man Utd or Liverpool but probably against Soton, Blackburn, Villa or Bolton. That's how it usually works.
Its conceivable we could go the year unbeaten and still lose the title by having too many draws. Also, the longer we go unbeaten the more the press will talk about it and jinx us and pressure us about it. Likely places for a defeat? Dec. 28 at Southampton. Feb 21 at Chelsea.

you're forgetting blackburn who beat us both times last season. they may be off to a slow start, but i wouldn't overlook them

It is WAY too early to start talking about this. We still have five and a half months left in the season, with (hopefully more than 2) Champions' League fixtures, FA Cup ties, and the former Worthless Cup mixed in. If we make it through January without a loss, then you can talk about it. Until then, let's not curse anything.

Bad idea making this kind of speculation. At the start of the 01-02 season, Ryan Giggs claimed Man U could go the season unbeaten. They then lost the community shield before the league even began. We won the title that year, and at the beginning of last season Wenger suggested we could go the whole league unbeaten. We lost the title.
Needless to say in recent times that phrase has commonly jinxed the speaker.

Except in the Rivalries forum, of course... :)
