Well, are there any people here who like Bauhaus?

My favorite song is "She's In Parties."

The virginal brides
File past his tomb
Strewing dead flowers
Bereft in deathly gloom.

That's from memory, so don't shoot me if it's wrong. But I have to say those lyrics always cracked me up.

I don't really know if I'd still call myself a fan. I have a couple albums, but I honestly haven't played them since I was a guy with the sexy crystal meth girlfriend with asymmetrical hair and black ripped stockings, tripping out of the bathroom of a pitch black club.

Ahem.

Missed out on Bauhaus but I did catch Peter Murphy in NYC around 1990. Not bad at all.

Nobody brought up "Bela Lugosi's Dead"? It's the goth National Anthem for lucifer's sake!!

"Slice of Life" is my fave. The interplay between Murphy's vocals and David J's bass that starts at the 1:57 mark of that song is as close to sonic bliss as I've ever known.

"Shivering under lamposts
Shivering under glass
You're standing on charisma again
God knows it cannot last
What's the difference"

YES!! I love Bauhaus!

My older sister used to like them when I was in junior high. I think I liked them because I wanted to look cool in front of my sister's friends...

Whatever, I can't remember more than a couple names of songs, but I think Kick in the Eye was a song I liked. Also She's in Parties, Telegram Sam and the Ziggy Stardust cover...

I do remember making stickers of that square face in a circle design in graphic arts class...
