I know that it is old, but i know there is a movie or documentary in hebrew with English Subtitles that was made in Israel and talks about soccer.

It is called Underdogs: A War Movie.
its not quite a war movie, nor is it anyhting that has to do with war. It talks about Hapoel Beit She'an whom in the 1994/1995 season were in Liga Leumit (AKA Liga Ahal) and they were going to get relegated to the 2nd divsion......

Underdogs is a charming documentary about Beit She'an, a small working-class Israeli town near the Jordanian border seized by soccer mania as the local team prepares for their last crucial game of the season. Beit Shean's team must defeat the rich national champions from Haifa in order to remain in the league; more than war on the soccer field, the film is about the war between rich and poor, small town vs.big city, and minorities vs. the ruling class.

Its really an exciting movie when you see it! Talks about a low key team, making it to the big shots of the premiership!!

Underdogs: A War Movie
Israel 1996 86 minutes Color video
Hebrew with English subtitles
Directors: Doron Tsabori and Rino Zror
1996 Israeli Academy Award, Best Documentary Film

Baltimore is way far away, like 5 hours. I live in a small city(65,000) in the middle of nowhere. I'll check my public library, they have a lot of movies.

I doubt that they have movies, but in the mean time, check out on google. perhaps some would sell it...but it is a small documentary. Its even hard to get in israel, though if u live between jewish areas, you might be able to get.

its a really good documentary that talks about israel at whole!

There was........... Hapoel Beit She'an is now in relegation base in Israel third division, liga arzit... The 3rd division is a mix between Pro and Amature and after this division is rather amature teams...

Hapoel Beit She'an is the pride of Beit She'an itself. I guess the reason why you went to Beit She'an was to see the roman archelogical sites..and thats cool........

Just not so long ago, Beit She'an was in the premier ship. Now they fight controversey surrounding Beitar game and also the fight to not get relegated!
