FCB interested in Latvian striker?

Rumor has it that FCB scouts are eyeballing Latvian striker Maris Verpakovskis, who incidentally scored the 1-0 against Turkey in the European qualification this week.

haven't heard anything about this, from what I understand we already have an U21 Croatian striker that will be joing us.

I say we buy Benny Lauth!!

I watched the second leg of the Turkey v. Latvia tie, and Verpakovskis definetly impressed me. He scored in the first leg as well, and I think he would be an excellent addition to the team.
