There is no point in selling our top players just because we may get a good transfer fee..and bring in a bunch of mediocre players!
Trust me..we have done this for the past 15-17 years and the results are what you see right now.A club like borussia should perhaps look for stronger sponsors or other tools that may help in order to find strong investors in the club and somehow keep the key players here at home...thats how we can survive remaining in the bundesliga. and build for a solid foundation for the future!
In the mid 80s this trend started, obviously there was alot of financial screw-ups then and the club had no other choice..but we should learn from those mistakes,i really think Marin is a key player for us..and its better to spend some coin on him and keep him in gladbach or gamble with him and get some money and bring in players that might or might not be even good enough for the club!
This policy never payed off for borussia and up to the day that we keep doing it we shall remain a half-ass team that is always worried about survival in the top flight.I really dont understand how the the club does not look for other ways that may interest sponsors to invest in the club...and we always sell a few great players we have and hope some/few unknown players might help us survive the tough challenge we have at hand
Letting jansen go was one thing, but a "play-maker" such as Marin is more worth for gladbach than his DOLLAR value and what we see on paper & contract :(

basically it says that according to different sources Dudu might join Borussia in january, and that he already passed the medical test....so what Borussia is like the Israeli team now?? :D
well about Dudu he's a good goalkeeper, very lucky, the thing i dont like is when he comes out to catch a high ball, makes me a little nervous, if u guys can work with him on that subject u'll have a great goalkeeper....i personally like better Ohad Levitte, Danny Amos or Tom Almandon...
btw u guys remember i told u about this kid Itay Shechter?? well looks like he's going to Porto, my football skills are flawless i should become a football scout..!! :D

the same for munich. take ribery out of the team and they won't get any titles as easy as they did in the past.
if such a key player leaves a team, there would be a much more bigger difference as with any other player...

Naz, nobody wants to sell Marko Marin (who would like to sell the fans' darling?) ... but please be realistic: If he doesn't agree to extend his contract because he got offers from top clubs and wants to leave in 2010, we'd simply have to sell him after this season in order to get some cash at least (it was the same with Van der Vaart in Hamburg)!
I don't think we need and intend to sell him if he prefers staying in MG. Unfortunately we can't offer him international soccer at the moment, so it's all about him to decide what's the best for his future & development!
I really dont understand how the the club does not look for other ways that may interest sponsors to invest in the club...
Regarding sponsorship, we're not that bad compared to other BL clubs (despite not having played in UEFA Cup since 1996 and having been relegated 1.5 years ago)!
And referring to foreign investors like in the EPL - NEIN DANKE!!!

Borussia Monchengladbach move for Deportivo keeper Dudu Aouate
12.11.08 | tribalfootball.com
Borussia Mönchengladbach have made contact with Deportivo La Coruna over the availability of goalkeeper Dudu Aouate.
The Israel international is on the outer at Depor after clashing with teammate Gustavo Munua last season and knows he has little future at the Riazor.
Dudu could make the move to Gladbach in January.
